The Swedish Armed Forces denied Monday reports that a Russian flying machine professedly damaged its national airspace on Saturday.

“[The JAS fighter aircraft] were launched because of a French plane. We do not provide any further details as the incident is now being studied,”

the Head of Press at the Swedish Armed Forces, Philip Simon said on-air at Radio Sweden. Simon affirmed the incident occurred on November 15 yet did not point out the definite time and spot. News with respect to the charged infringement of Swedish airspace by a Russian airplane initially showed up in the Swedish Expressen newspaper.
