According to Metuh, ”PDP has uncovered plot by the newly appointed DG DSS to interfere on political issues especially tribunal matters, in that regard the NWC is aware that the DG DSS has even invited some people in relation to Rivers state and other states tribunal and trying to discuss such matters with tribunal members.

“The PDP alerts the national and international communities that this gross interference in democratic affairs can lead to totalitarian regime” Metuh said.

Metuh who explained that the NWC was in the process of re-constituting the PDP Board of Trustee (BoT) in consultation with stakeholders as result of defection from the party, maintained that the NWC has also approved the ward and state congresses for Anambra state to begin from Tuesday next week.
