South Africans have taken to the streets this morning to call for the resignation of their President, Jacob Zuma. The South Africans protesting under the hashtag #ZumaMustFall are aggrieved over the manner in which he is running their country since he became president in 2009. Zuma caused widespread anger last week when he fired the the country's Finance Minister Nhlanhla Nene and appointed the unknown Des van Rooyen. 4 days later, he bowed to pressure by dismissing Van Rooyen and appointed the respected Pravin Gordhan to the post.
