by Jimmie Moglia (source: http://yourdailyshakespeare.com/7522-2/equalities)

“I do condemn mine ears that have so long attended thee”

(Cymbeline, act 1, sc. 6)

This is an unpleasant blog to write and I apologize in advance for the language, to my twenty-five readers.
As a mitigating factor, the unpleasant language is extracted verbatim from Roger Stone’s book titled “The Clinton’s War on Women.” Nevertheless, sometimes a rough truth is better than circumvoluted euphemisms.

Russian heavy aircraft-carrying cruiser “Admiral Kuznetsov” will be deployed this fall to the Mediterranean, near the shores of Syria. According to an informed military source, its aircraft will attack the positions of ISIS and other militant groups in Syria from October 2016 to January 2017. Interestingly, rumors that “Admiral Kuznetsov” would be sent to her first task circulated earlier, but they were denied after partial withdrawal of Russian military air forces from the base Hmeimim in Syria. It looks like the plans have changed again.

The proposed resolution is scheduled to be presented to parliament for a vote in a few days, following a “fast track” procedure designed to be completed in time for this year’s Srebrenica anniversary ceremony on July 11. Obviously, the timing was designed to ensure that maximum emotional pressure is exerted on parliamentary deputies, while giving them a minimum of time to conduct an informed public debate on the issues underlying the Srebrenica controversy.
