IMO GETS NEW UNIVERSITY AS EASTERN PALM UNIVERSITY OGBOKO IS LICENSED BY NUC Yesterday (13th April 2016) in the National University Commission, NUC, Gov Rochas Okorocha received the operating license to a brand new university, Eastern Palm University, Ogboko in Ideato South, Imo State; a Private - Public Partnership between the Imo State Government and some stakeholders. Imo State is a state known for producing the highest amount of JAMB candidates in Nigeria with few chances to take them owing to the few number of universities in the state. With the granting of the license to operate to the Eastern Palm University, Imo indigenes can now heave a sigh of relief as chances of gaining admission in the university has increased.
