Is it wise enough to resign my oil and gas job & focus on my hubby's biz?

My Hubby has just advised I resign my oil and gas job so I could concentrate on a small business he started years before we met and married. It’s our belief that each family should own one or more business of their own. As much as I buy into that belief, I’m hesitant to resign my oil and gas job as I don’t know if it would be a wise decision for me personally as a partner to abruptly just resign. Would it not also be wise for me personally to insist that we have a legal framework where we’ve equal ownership of the business? Am thinking this might create a friction between us. I’m also making a fortune where I work now and I don’t understand what things will soon be like dealing with my husband. I must say I need your advise.

Sierra Leone Criticizes Canada for Banning Travelers From Ebola-Hit Countries

Sierra Leone has called discriminatory Canada's decision to suspend visa applications from anyone, who has recently visited Ebola-hit countries.
"The government [of Sierra Leone] views the decision as discriminatory, coming at a time when we are trying to ease the isolation, and not re-enforce it," Theo Nicol, Sierra Leone's deputy information minister, told Agence France Presse Saturday.

Male Covenant University Student Expelled For Wearing Waist Trimmer To Class

A 200 Level student of the Department of Mass Communication, Covenant University has been recently expelled by the school authorities for indulging in “acts of indecent behavior manifested through reckless dressing”.

FNN would like to remind our readers of the time when the school management in October 2013 passed a regulation calling for all students to be well dressed at all times within the campus.

However, this 200 level student was caught by a lecturer when he wore waist trimmers to lectures with the aim of enhancing the succinct shape of his not-so-supple-waist.

Adamawa State government declares curfew in the state

The Adamawa State government today Nov. 1st declared curfew in every area of the state after the upsurge in insurgency activities in a few areas of the state, especially in Mubi. In accordance with a statement released today, the curfew is currently from 5am to 9pm atlanta in every part  of the state, and every resident has been advised to comply strictly with the directive.

27yr old South Africa national team captain and goal keeper Senzo Meyiwa, who was shot dead at his girlfriend's home by unknown gunmen last Sunday October 25th, was laid to rest today November 1st at the Heroes Acre Chesterfield cemetery - an honor that's usually reserved for outstanding figures from the struggle against apartheid.

About 30,000 South Africans gathered at the Moses Mabhida Stadium to bid the goalkeeper farewell. The funeral comes each day after it had been announced that the suspect has been arrested and charged for his murder. He's survived by three children.

US Geological Survey: Powerful Earthquake registered in Fiji Region

An earthquake of magnitude 6.9 has been registered in the southern the main Pacific Ocean, Fiji region, US Geological Survey (USGS) reported Saturday. The epicenter of the earthquake was registered to be 142 kilometers (88 miles) north-east of Ndoi Island of Fiji archipelago. The depth of the seismic focus was 421.9 kilometers (262.2 miles), USGS reported. No tsunami is expected, based on the Pacific Tsunami Warning Center. An earthquake of magnitude six or maybe more is regarded as being powerful and more likely to cause considerable damage in addition to cause a tsunami.

Massive Shelling Continues in Donetsk 1 Day Before Elections: City Council

The tense situation persists in the town of Donetsk, while the sounds of gunfire explosions are heard throughout the city during the day, the Donetsk City Council said in a record published on the state website Saturday.
"At the time of 6 p.m. local time [16:00 GMT] the problem in Donetsk is tense. Cannonade and sounds of explosions didn't stop in the town during the day," the statement read.

Billionaire businessman Richard Branson's £350m Virgin Atlantic experimental Spacecraft called the SpaceShipTwo crashed after an explosion during an examination flight in the Mojave desert in California, killing one pilot, and seriously injuring the other. The spacecraft broke apart right after it had been detached from the launch plane that carries it to 45,000ft Not surprisingly, Sir Richard has vowed to carry one with his attempt to take people along to the space.
