Florida man kills 2 neighbours, shoots the 3rd one over a long standing beef



In a chilling police interrogation, Billy Woodward described the moment he sneaked across his front lawn wearing camouflage and shot three neighbors he had been feuding with in Titusville, Florida. 
“I kept low crawling. I was on a military mission. I was going to end this war,” Woodward is heard telling Titusville police after the shooting on an interrogation tape.

Scorned lover bathes ex-girlfriend with acid in Lagos

The Lagos state police have arrested a 30-year-old factory worker, Paul Nwokobia, for an acid attack, which has left his former gf, Rosemary, a 23-year-old caterer, badly disfigured.

It was learnt that for many years, Nwokobia, a Delta State indigene and Rosemary Nnaife, the caterer (also from Delta State) were lovers but fell apart in November 2014, when Rosemary concluded that suspect had become irresponsible.

Extremely graphic images from accident in Delta

The terrible and appalling mishap happened on August sixth around 6pm at Ubulu Okiti Junction in Aniocha South LGA of Delta state. A driver of a business transport conveying 14 travelers lost control on the roadway as he was attempting to stay away from a towing van which entered the expressway without caution.
The transport, carrying students, and venturing out from Asaba to Agbor, shockingly kept running into a positioned trailer stopped next to the Express path as he made to avoid a strategic distance from the towing van. Of each of the 15 persons in the Bus, just 2 survived and are in critical condition at the clinic. The photographs after the cut are truly awful so viewer discretion is advised.

"This is the road that leads the Bakassi Cameroon border. There's a civil private estate in Akpabuyo and its this street that leads there. Such a large number of individuals use the road every minute of the day yet with the condition now, individuals are stuck in movement for a considerable length of time. Its a road for Unicem Trucks as well. What's more, these trucks continue getting stuck and falling all around. Now we're asking the government. People are suffering here.

No less than six people have been affirmed dead, four missing and more than sixty injured when Typhoon Soudelor hit Taiwan early at the beginning of today Saturday August eighth. Taiwan Power, the island's principle force organization, said 2.94 million family units are as of now without force. Several flights have been postponed or wiped out, as per Taiwan powers.
A large number of people were cleared as the storm drew approached and the island's military put a huge number of troops and a large number of vehicles on stand-by for rescue operations.
The storm made landfall early in the morning on the island's east-drift districts of Yilan and Hualien, raising to 1,000 mm (39 inches) of downpour in bumpy northeastern ranges and wind blasting up to 200 kph (124mph). The new Group Managing Director of The Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation, Dr. Emmanuel Kachikwu, has asked friends and well-wishers to pray for him for divine guidance.

Buhari: Military Must Start Making Its Weapons.

President Muhammadu Buhari on Friday in Abuja directed the federal ministry of defence to produce a plan for the establishment of a modest military industrial complex for the local production of weapons to meet some of the requirements of the country’s armed forces.

Speaking at a graduation ceremony at the national defence college, Buhari described as unacceptable, Nigeria’s current over-dependence on other countries for critical military equipment and logistics.

Oliseh Announces 23-Man Squad Of Home-Based Players For Tanzania

Nigeria coach, Sunday Oliseh, has unveiled a list of 23 home-based players, to begin camping ahead of next month’s Africa Cup of Nations qualifier against Tanzania.

The immediate past Chief of Air Staff, CAS, Air Marshal Adesola Amosu (rtd.) has expressed optimism over the final destruction of the Boko Haram sect, stressing that the Nigerian military has succeeded in reducing the Boko Haram sect to a shadow of its former self.

Amosun who made this known in Abuja yesterday during the fly-out parade at the Nigerian Air Force (NAF) Base held in his honour as he bowed out of the military, warned against complacency, saying terrorism is real and must be fought with utmost ruthlessness.

Kachikwu: Buhari Bears No Grudge Against Igbos, Says APC

The All Progressives Congress in the South-East on Friday said the appointment of Dr. Ibe Kachikwu as the Group Managing Director of the Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation had shown that President Muhammadu Buhari does not bear any grudge against the Igbos.

Buhari got few votes in the South-East during the elections and there are insinuations that the President would sideline the Igbos as a result of the development.

Lagos State University Teaching Hospital (LASUTH) Chief Medical Director (CMD), Prof Wale Oke has urged men to stop competing with  their babies to suck the wives’ breast.
